The Royal Thames Yacht club were hosts to 20 boats from ten countries during the week of 26th July. The Gertrude Cup was one by Jeremy Thorp with crew Stuart Childerley and Mark Andrews sailing under the Antigua Yacht Club flag. Despite the light winds and over zealous fleet which led to 3 general recalls in the first race , the competitors enjoyed excellent sailing and social events ashore culminating in dinner at the Royal Yacht Squadron
